White Noise: Your Sleep Saviour
Straight up – I’m a super light sleeper. I always have been. And recently I’ve discovered the friggen hallelujah to sleeping at night.
Ok so this is kind of new to me and I happened about it accidentally. I was sleeping, a while ago actually, at someone else’s apartment and there had been a flood. There was big ass industrial fans that we had to sleep with on…. and low and friggen behold it was like, the best sleep of life. It was so loud, these fans were inside the bedroom, but for some reason it was really relaxing and I slept through the entire night feeling amazing!
To be completely honest, at that time I did nothing with that information. It was a fluke and that was that. BUT this person found the most perfect app that they used to sleep every single night and it wasn’t until recently that I learned about it!!! I downloaded it last night and honestly, had the most rockin’ sleep ever.
I would highly recommend you go find this app if you’re looking for something to help you sleep at night. And in typical Sarah fashion, I have researched some awesome reasons why white noise helps you sleep better.
- White noise buffers any of those disturbing sounds that may happen at night, especially if you live in a busy city or area of town. It’s one consistent noise throughout the whole night so you sleep peacefully.
- Some people use white noise to meditate because they find it helps them shut down their brains. The same thing happens when you sleep at night – if you can’t stop thinking about your day, white noise can help calm that all down and allow you to all asleep peacefully.
- It helps you stay asleep once you are asleep. Because it blocks all those random sounds, you won’t get woken up in the middle of the night, and if you do – it’s so much easier to fall back asleep.
